Support and empowerment of the educational staff within the school community.
One of the main concerns of the school psychologist, in collaboration with the Principal, is to create a confidential and supportive environment where members of the educational staff feel safe to discuss the challenges they face daily in their work, to express their concerns and needs without fear of judgment. Both the psychologist and the principal should provide space for this sharing and offer their professional opinion, advising and guiding the educators to address and handle the issues that arise.
The interactive whiteboard in teaching and its pedagogical utilization by educators: in-school training.
On Thursday, June 22, 2023, an in-school training was conducted for the use of the interactive whiteboard in teaching.
The interactive whiteboard combines the functionality of a traditional board with that of a computer. With the help of software, the user can interact with the board through touch or a special pen. It is a modern educational tool that enhances teaching and supports learning by allowing the educator to use high-quality material during instruction, which can be created by themselves or other educators, in combination with various applications and multimedia.
It is considered the most suitable tool for student-centered teaching that promotes collaborative and interdisciplinary learning, as it allows the creation of various presentations that cater to a wide range of students and different learning styles.
Educators were presented with various ways to utilize the OpenBoard software during instruction to make the lesson more engaging for students. The training was conducted by the school educator Ms. Maria Varfi with the assistance of her colleague. Ms. Tzoumaka Christina

“Use of collaborative documents and e-classrooms for better classroom organization.”
Modern educational practices advocate for cooperative teaching, following the doctrine of sociocultural theories, encouraging student collaboration, with the educator as a helper and motivator, guiding them towards the construction and ultimately the acquisition of knowledge.
For this reason, on Friday, September 8, 2023, an in-school training on collaborative documents and e-class (eclass) was conducted:
a) Eclass is a modern, collaborative, digital platform for students and educators, designed to support formal, informal, and non-formal learning activities. It provides the school community with a secure digital workspace and collaboration and is provided by the Ministry of Education & Religious Affairs (YPEPTH) as an asynchronous education platform for Greek schools.
b) Microsoft provides access from anywhere to an office suite, supports collaborative data processing, facilitates communication between students and educators, and also offers many free education-oriented applications.
The training was conducted by the teachers Varfi Maria and Tzoumaka Christina
