School Mediation Program 2025-2026

For the 3rd consecutive year, our school successfully implemented the School Mediation Program, this time with even greater maturity and impact!

This year, in addition to experiential simulations and intensive training in mediation techniques, our students handled real mediation cases within the school. With responsibility, empathy and respect, they contributed to the peaceful resolution of conflicts, proving in practice the value of the program.

Our collaboration with the 1st High School of Sykies was particularly significant. We organized two joint workshops — one in our school and one in theirs — where students from both schools exchanged experiences, participated in experiential activities, and strengthened their skills through group exercises.

The highlight of the year was our joint educational trip to Bulgaria. The purpose of the excursion was to explore the history, culture and social dynamics of our neighboring country through a journey that combined knowledge and experiential learning. We visited the historic Rupel Fort and Museum, continued to Sofia, and concluded our trip in Plovdiv. Through guided tours and discussions, our students reflected on issues of peaceful coexistence, conflict resolution and intercultural understanding — values that lie at the heart of school mediation.

We warmly thank all the participating students, the teachers Kallirroi Papakosta and Christina Tzoumaka, as well as all our partners who contributed to the success of the program.

A Window to Europe Through a Big Digital Screen: Our Shared Story in the World of eTwinning

Participation in an eTwinning Project

During the current school year, our school successfully participated in a European eTwinning project, offering our students a unique experience of collaboration and learning.

Through a variety of creative activities, students had the opportunity to work with peers from different countries, exchange ideas, explore new cultures, and develop their digital and communication skills.

Participation in the project enhanced students’ creativity, teamwork, and self-confidence, while also contributing to the development of an open and collaborative learning community.

We are very proud of our students’ work and participation and would like to thank all our partners for their excellent cooperation. We look forward to taking part in similar projects in the future.
